That was the case for Atvira Klaipėda editor Martynas Vainorius, who returned from the international Innovation Fair in Budapest — an international event under the LIMENet umbrella, with Media4Change actively participating as a national partner.
Small newsrooms often lack extra resources — whether in staff or time. Yet, they’re often closer to their audience, quicker to notice shifting needs, and freer to rethink their direction.

Prieš rinkimus prie Seimo vyko LGBT+ bendruomenės atstovų protestas, kuriuo, kaip pažymėjo organizatoriai, išreiškiamas nepasitenkinimas valdančiųjų nesugebėjimu išpildyti pažadų ir įteisinti tos pačios lyties porų partnerystės. Tiesa, šios kadencijos parlamentas po svarstymo yra pritaręs valdančiosios daugumos partijų inicijuotam Civilinės sąjungos įstatymo projektui. Tam, kad jis būtų priimtas, Seimas turėtų balsuoti dar kartą. Protesto organizatorių nuomone, šis klausimas sprendžiamas per lėtai. Panašiai situaciją Lietuvoje dėl partnerystės įteisinimo ir kitų svarbių „queer“ žmonėms klausimų mūsų šalyje pamatė ir čia, per „Vilnius Pride“, svečiavusis žurnalistė iš Vokietijos Norma Schneider. It happened on June 28, 2023, and brought together 25 media makers, active citizens, politicians, and representatives of minorities.
